We are learning to design and create tessellations to explore transformations.
I used 'paint' to paint a tessellation as instructed in an activity called 'Escher Envy'.
I designed and created the above tessellating pattern.
This is the procedure
This is the procedure
- I opened up the computer tool paint
- Then I created a parallelogram
- Next I created a pattern on the top the parallelogram and repeated it on the bottom
- Same as the sides
- I then erased the original parallelogram and that left me with my pattern
- I copied my pattern across the canvas of paint until I ended up with my first tessellation
