Survival

Hard in real life and harder in the game I was playing.
I was at my friend’s house,  his name is Glenn and he’s a really fun guy to hang out with once you get to know him. I usually go to his house in my spare time so we can play the best game in the world.  I know it might seem like an exaggeration, but that’s how cool the game is to me.I think the game is the second to latest one in its series.   It is ‘Call Of Duty MW3 ‘ (short for Modern Warfare 3).
Most of the time we play ‘Survival’, it’s a game mode where you practically have to try to survive. The first 9 levels are filled with attack dogs ,suiciders, Russians ( I think but practically soldiers) and an attack helicopter (they’re kind of hard if you don’t have a machine gun ) but when you get to level 10 then it gets harder.  When it gets hard there always has to be a Juggernaut, it is a fully armoured person equipped with an assault rifle called a M60E4 and is extremely hard to kill but he’s not immortal. Because my friend and I are pro’s so we don’t die easily although our high score is level 27 I still think we're pro’s and next time I think we can beat level 27.

Cultural Festival 2012

One minute one thing, one minute another it was so hectic I couldn't even hear myself thinking.

I was late and I was thinking like the world was gonna end. First of all I should say that this was TOTALLY not my fault (wait ... maybe). As soon as the car stopped I burst through the open door and bolted into the room while thinking ' oh man, oh man I am so late! Ahhh )'. As soon as I came in Reitz said ' wow Aaron you are so early' and I definitely and truly knew that I was late. After I got changed we marched into the hall almost like a organised battle troop. We all did according to plan (well mostly). All the groups passed, except our group the European group. My feet were shaking even before I got on the stage. With feet trembling, hands quivering and a handful of doubt I knew that I would  look like a total fool in front of what looked like thousands of people. With disbelief I walked into the stage and started dancing and in thirty seconds there were no more doubt in me and all I cared about was having fun. Our dance ended in what felt like seconds and it was all hectic again people began pushing and squirming to get out. After many huffing and puffing I went home and had an undisturbed sleep.

Technicraft - Sewing (First Day)

We followed Miss Scott down the hallway and into the room where we would spend 2 hours, once a week for five weeks sowing.  Before my lessons began sowing was always a mystery to me but after five weeks I know and understand a lot more about it.
I was both excited and apprehensive about sewing.  But I was As I was eager to get started.  I knew our teacher Mrs Scott from our cooking lessons so knowing her helped me feel a little better but then an unknown figure entered the sewing room.
At first I thought that she was just talking to Miss Scott for well something (the way teachers do sometimes) but to my surprise she was going to help us sow this term. The lady who stood standing in front of the class was Miss Barrow, the sowing teacher of Edgewater College. After Miss Scott introduced us to her (reverse) we organised ourselves into partners (my partner was Jose) and sat down opposite ‘Bernina’ our so called new best friend.
We uncovered her, she was not very big but I figured she was probably ten years plus. Glancing around the room I estimated she had 12 duplicate sisters and 4 identical brothers. ‘Bernina’ was our sewing machine. Sarcastically I greeted ‘Bernina’ wondering if she would magically respond, but I guess I was just daydreaming. We practiced sewing patterns without the thread to get used to maneuvering the fabric ( but just paper at that time). A couple of minutes later students poured into the room and we had to pack up as fast as light. Later we were in the hallway (again) but now waiting in a line to the kitchen. In the kitchen we did an activity about sewing (I forgot about what specifically) and went back to school.
